The Training Source, Inc. Is Offering to Virtually Train Final 30 Job Seekers For 2020
Seat Pleasant, MD (December 4, 2020) – The Training Source, Inc. has revealed plans to begin training 30 additional job seekers before the end of the year in response to massive job loss brought on by the Coronavirus pandemic. Interested candidates must complete the application process by December 11, 2020 to be considered. Basic eligibility requirements include: candidates must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED and desire to work full-time immediately after training. Training will begin on Monday, December 14, 2020.
Kim Rhim Honored With William Donald Schaefer Helping People Award
March 9, 2020 (Seat Pleasant, MD) – The Training Source, Inc. announced today that its Executive Director, Kim Rhim, has been selected to receive the William Donald Schaefer Helping People Award for Prince George’s County in recognition of her service to the community. On March 16th at 10:30 a.m., Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot will visit The Training Source to present the award to Ms. Rhim.

November 12, 2019 (Seat Pleasant, MD) – The Training Source, Inc. will host its Inaugural Career Fair under the theme “Economic Mobility for All!” on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event will take place at Kentland Community Center, 2413 Pinebrook Road, Landover, MD 20785. The U.S. Census is the anchor employer recruiting for thousands of positions in support of Census 2020.
Kim Rhim Named Prince George’s County Nonprofit Leader of the Year
October 25, 2019 (Seat Pleasant, MD) – The Training Source, Inc. announced today that its Executive Director, Kim Rhim, was named “Nonprofit Leader of the Year” at the Greater Washington Community Foundation’s 2019 Civic Leadership Awards. 2019 is the inaugural year for the distinguished Nonprofit Leader of the Year award.
