About Us
The Training Source, Inc. is an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing economic mobility through comprehensive workforce development and youth leadership programming. We provide job training, industry-recognized certifications, youth development programs, and customized professional training for employers, equipping individuals and communities with the tools to succeed.
Founded in 1993 by Evelyn Kim Rhim, The Training Source was built on a vision to empower individuals by sharing knowledge, skills, and opportunity. More than three decades later, the organization remains steadfast in its commitment to serving unemployed and underemployed individuals, career changers, and those seeking sustainable career pathways.
In February 2025, Nekeisia Booyer became the organization’s second Executive Director. With more than 25 years of experience advancing social and economic equity across the nonprofit, human services, and government sectors, Ms. Booyer brings visionary leadership that is guiding The Training Source into a new era of growth, innovation, and community impact.
The Training Source is proud to be among a select group of nonprofits in Prince George’s County to earn both the Maryland Nonprofits Standards for Excellence® accreditation and a Candid® Platinum Seal of Transparency, reflecting our commitment to accountability, quality, and impact.

Standards for Excellence
The Training Source, Inc.is proud to display this Seal of Excellence awarded by the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations. Accreditation in the Standards for Excellence® is bestowed only to the most well-managed and responsibly governed nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated compliance with 55 specific Standards for Excellence® based on honesty, integrity, fairness, respect, trust, responsibility, and accountability.
